Multiplayer cursors
See where collaborators are working on the canvas in real time.
How multiplayer cursors work
When multiple people have a project open at the same time, each person's cursor appears on the canvas for all other participants. Each cursor is color-coded and labeled with the collaborator's name so you can tell at a glance who is doing what.
Cursors update in real time as collaborators move around the canvas.
What you see
- Cursor position — the exact location of each collaborator's pointer on the canvas.
- Name label — displayed next to the cursor so you always know who it belongs to.
Showing and hiding cursors
Multiplayer cursors are on by default. To toggle them off:
- Open the Canvas & View settings or viewport controls.
- Turn off Multiplayer cursors.
Hiding cursors does not affect real-time syncing — other people's edits still appear on your canvas; you just won't see their cursor positions.
Tips
- Cursors are most useful during live reviews or collaborative design sessions.
- Hide cursors temporarily when you need to carefully evaluate visual details without distractions.
- If a collaborator's cursor is not visible, they may have navigated to a different area of the canvas — zoom out to locate them.
- Cursors require an active internet connection; poor connectivity may cause cursor positions to lag.
