Lovision

What's new

Recent Lovision product updates — features, improvements, and fixes.

May 12, 2026 — v0.1.10 & v0.1.11

Font system (Phase 0 + 1). Lovision now includes a built-in font pipeline. You can use fonts directly in text nodes with improved loading and rendering consistency.

Viewport tile cache. The renderer caches rendered tiles so that scrolling and zooming feel faster on large canvases.

Resumable media uploads. Large file uploads can now survive a page refresh or network drop. Progress is checkpointed locally and resumes automatically when you reopen the project.

Subscription quotas. Project, folder, and CDN storage limits are now enforced per subscription tier.

Bug fix. Resolved an issue where the Electron desktop app could show a white screen during login.

May 9, 2026 — v0.1.9

Scale tool. A dedicated Scale tool (K) lets you resize one or more layers proportionally from their center, similar to Figma's scale behavior.

Pencil tool. A new freehand drawing tool lets you sketch paths directly on the canvas.

SVG export. You can now export layers and frames as SVG files in addition to PNG and JPEG.

Vector boolean operations. Union, subtract, intersect, and exclude are now available in the node settings panel for vector layers.

Create Vector tool. A dedicated AI tool in the prompt input generates SVG-style vector output using Recraft v4 Vector and Recraft v4 Pro Vector models.

Happy Horse & Seedance 2.0 video models. Two new video models are available in the AI prompt input. Sora 2 and Seedance v1.5 have been removed.

Veo 3 image-to-video. You can now use an @-mentioned image as input for Google Veo 3 video generation.

Floating panels. The left and right panels now float above the canvas and collapse automatically when nothing is selected.

Component creation. Create components from the canvas using the context menu or the keyboard shortcut ⌘⌥K (Mac) / Ctrl+Alt+K (Windows).

Per-plan concurrent task limit. Each subscription plan now has a defined limit for concurrent AI generation tasks, with an upgrade prompt when the limit is reached.

Export settings per node. You can now set export format, scale, and filename suffix on individual nodes from the inspector.

Outline stroke. Convert a stroke to a filled vector path from the inline toolbar or node settings.

Image vectorize. Convert a raster image to a vector path directly from the inline toolbar or right panel.

@ mention for image editing. Mentioning a selected image in the prompt input now triggers the Edit Image workflow automatically.

May 3–5, 2026 — v0.1.1 through v0.1.8

Video node. A new layer type for placing and playing back video content. Videos can be generated with AI using models such as Seedance 2.0, Happy Horse, Kling v3 Pro, and Wan v2.2.

Desktop app (Electron). Lovision is now available as a downloadable desktop application for Mac and Windows, with auto-update support.

Mixed-selection toolbar. When you select layers of different types together, the inline toolbar now shows shared controls rather than nothing.

@ mention canvas references. Type @ in the prompt input to reference canvas layers directly. Referenced layers are included as image context for AI generation.

Flatten shape to vector. Shapes can be flattened into editable vector paths.

Copy/paste properties. Copy style attributes from one layer and paste them onto another using the context menu.
