Multiplayer cursors
Toggle the display of collaborator cursors on the canvas from viewport controls.
What multiplayer cursors show
When multiple people have the same project open, each person's cursor appears on the canvas for all other participants. Each cursor is color-coded and labeled with the collaborator's name.
Toggling multiplayer cursor visibility
Multiplayer cursor display is controlled in the viewport controls:
- Open the viewport controls in the bottom-right corner of the editor.
- Click the Multiplayer cursors toggle to turn them on or off.
Turning off cursor display is a local-only preference — other collaborators still see your cursor when you have theirs hidden.
When to use this toggle
- Turn on when actively collaborating in real time — seeing cursor positions helps coordinate who is working where.
- Turn off when you need to focus on visual details and cursor movement is distracting, or when presenting the canvas and you don't want cursor clutter on screen.
Tips
- Hiding cursors does not stop real-time sync. Other people's edits still appear on your canvas — you just won't see their cursor positions.
- If a collaborator's cursor is not visible even with the toggle on, check that they are in the same project and are not idle.
- In very large projects with many collaborators, hiding cursors can improve visual clarity during concentrated work.
