Appearance and language
Change the Lovision UI theme and interface language.
Appearance
Lovision offers three theme options:
| Option | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Light | White panels and light canvas background |
| Dark | Dark panels and dark canvas background |
| System | Automatically matches your OS dark/light mode setting |
To change the theme:
- Open Settings.
- Go to Preferences.
- Select Light, Dark, or System under Appearance.
Language
The language setting controls the interface text throughout the app — menus, labels, tooltips, and documentation links.
Supported languages include English and Chinese (Simplified). Additional languages may be added in future releases.
To change the language:
- Open Settings → Preferences.
- Open the Language dropdown.
- Select your preferred language.
- The interface updates immediately — no restart required.
Tips
- The System appearance option is the most portable choice if you switch between light and dark modes frequently.
- Language changes apply to the app interface; canvas text and user-created content are not affected.
- On desktop, the app may default to your operating system's language on first launch.
