Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Lovision uses cookies and similar technologies in its websites, web application, and related browser-based features. It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What we mean by cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. We also use similar technologies, including local storage, session storage, and browser identifiers. In this Policy, “cookies” includes those similar technologies unless we say otherwise.
Some technologies are set directly by Lovision (first-party). Others are set by a provider whose service is embedded in or supports Lovision (third-party).
2. Cookie categories
| Category | Default | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Functional / essential | Always active | Authenticate users, protect accounts, maintain sessions and service security, remember core product settings, keep the editor working, maintain request continuity, and honor actions such as a referral the user chose to follow. These technologies cannot be disabled in Lovision. |
| Statistical | Off until enabled | Collect sampled performance measurements so we can understand latency, reliability, and technical performance. These technologies are optional and are not used for advertising. |
Lovision does not currently use advertising cookies or cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Technologies we use
The exact names used by authentication, security, and hosting providers can vary by domain, browser, and deployment. The table below describes the current Lovision-controlled technologies and the main provider technologies you may encounter.
| Technology or example key | Provider | Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Authentication session cookies and oneauth_token browser storage | Lovision / OneAuth / Better Auth | Essential | Sign in, authenticate API requests, maintain sessions, and protect account access. | Session-based or until expiry, sign-out, account deletion, or browser storage is cleared. |
user-preferences | Lovision | Essential | Remember language, theme, view mode, and cookie choice in the current browser; a signed-in user’s cookie choice is also synchronized to the account. | Until changed, account deletion, or browser storage is cleared. |
sidebar_state | Lovision | Essential | Remember whether the application sidebar is open. | Cookie: 7 days. A matching local preference can remain until changed or browser storage is cleared. |
lovision_client_session_id | Lovision | Essential | Distinguish the current browser installation for request continuity, concurrency coordination, recovery, and security. It is a random identifier and is not an advertising ID. | Until browser storage is cleared or the identifier is replaced. |
| Editor and interface preferences | Lovision | Essential | Remember panel sizes, color-space or color-profile choices, recent-section state, notification onboarding state, font filters, and similar settings needed to preserve the user’s workspace. | Until changed, no longer needed, or browser storage is cleared. |
| Referral state | Lovision / OneAuth | Essential when a referral is used | Remember a referral code selected by the user long enough to apply the associated account or credit benefit and prevent duplicate processing. | Until applied, no longer eligible, or browser storage is cleared. |
| Turnstile security data | Cloudflare | Essential | Detect automated abuse and protect sign-in or other security-sensitive forms. | Determined by Cloudflare and the security challenge; generally session or short-lived. |
| Sampled browser performance measurements | Sentry | Statistical | Measure route and request latency, rendering performance, and reliability for a sample of activity. Lovision redacts designed sensitive values before diagnostic events are sent. | Collected only while Statistical Cookies are enabled; provider-side retention follows Lovision’s configured diagnostic schedule. |
Lovision may also maintain server-side security, fraud-prevention, billing, and error logs. Those records are not browser cookies and can be processed where necessary to operate and protect the Service even when Statistical Cookies are off.
4. Managing your choice
Statistical Cookies are off by default. To review or change your choice:
- Open Settings.
- Go to Preferences.
- Find Cookies and click Manage.
- Turn Statistical Cookies on or off.
The new choice applies to future optional collection. A page reload may be needed for every in-progress measurement to stop or start. If you are signed in, Lovision stores the choice with your account and in the current browser; if you are signed out, the choice is stored only in that browser.
You can also delete or block cookies using browser settings. Blocking essential cookies or clearing essential browser storage can sign you out, reset preferences, interrupt generation-job recovery, or prevent parts of Lovision from working.
5. Browser privacy signals
Because Lovision does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, Global Privacy Control and similar sale-or-sharing opt-out signals do not change our current advertising practices. We honor legally valid browser-based signals where they apply to a processing activity.
“Do Not Track” is not a uniform legal or technical standard. Lovision instead provides the Statistical Cookies control described above.
6. Third-party services
An AI model, plugin, MCP client, integration, or website you open from Lovision may use its own cookies after you interact with it or leave Lovision. Review that provider’s privacy and cookie information. Disconnecting an integration prevents future access through Lovision but does not control browser storage already set by the third party on its own domain.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our technologies, providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice or request consent where required for a material change.
