Show or hide the UI
Toggle the editor panels to focus on the canvas during review or presentation.
What gets hidden
Pressing the Hide UI shortcut toggles the editor into focus mode. In focus mode, all overlay elements are hidden:
- Header (project name, main menu, share button)
- Left panel (layers, AI input)
- Right inspector
- Toolbar
- Viewport controls
- Center prompt input
- Inline selection toolbar
The canvas fills the window, showing only the design itself.
How to toggle
| Method | Mac | Windows / Linux |
|---|---|---|
| Keyboard shortcut | ⌘\ | Ctrl+\ |
Press the same shortcut again to restore all panels.
When to use focus mode
- Design review — present a design to a stakeholder without editor chrome getting in the way.
- Screen recording — record a walkthrough with a clean canvas view.
- Focus time — reduce visual noise when evaluating layout and composition decisions.
Tips
- Pan and zoom still work in focus mode using Space+drag and scroll gestures.
- The shortcut is global — it works regardless of which tool or panel is active.
- If you enter focus mode accidentally, press the same shortcut again to restore the UI.
