Drag and drop media
Add images, videos, and other files to the canvas by dragging them from your computer.
How drag and drop works
Drag one or more files from your desktop or file manager and release them anywhere on the Lovision canvas. Each file is placed as a new layer at the exact drop position — no dialog, no confirmation needed.
What you can drop

Dropping multiple files
Drag and drop multiple files at once by selecting them all in your file manager before dragging. Each file becomes a separate layer, placed offset from each other so they don't stack.
After dropping
- Each file uploads to the project CDN in the background.
- The layer is placed and interactive immediately — you can move and resize while the upload completes.
- A progress indicator on the layer shows the upload status.
Tips
- Drop files close to where you want to use them — Lovision places each file at the drop position, so strategic dropping saves repositioning time.
- Drag and drop is disabled in view-only projects. You need at least Edit permission.
- If a large file fails mid-upload, try dropping it again. If the failure repeats, check the supported file types list and file size limits.
