Fills
Add solid color, gradient, or image fills to layers.
Fill types
Fills control the inside paint of a layer. Lovision supports four fill types:
- Solid — a single flat color.
- Linear gradient — color blends along a straight line.
- Radial gradient — color blends outward from a center point.
- Angular gradient — color blends around a center point like a color wheel.
How to add and edit a fill
- Select a layer that supports fills (frames, shapes, vectors, text).
- Open the Fill section in the right inspector.
- Click + to add a fill.
- Click the color swatch to open the color picker and choose a color or switch to a gradient type.
- Drag the opacity slider or type a percentage to change fill opacity.
Multiple fills
You can stack multiple fills on the same layer. Fills are composited from bottom to top. Click + again to add another fill, drag fills to reorder them, or click the visibility toggle to disable one without deleting it.
Tips
- To sample a color from anywhere on screen, use the eyedropper inside the color picker.
- Fill opacity and layer opacity are independent — both can be adjusted separately.
- Use multiple fills to combine a gradient with a semi-transparent solid overlay.
- When several layers are selected, use Selection colors to change a shared fill color across all of them at once.
