Link access
Control whether a project is invite-only or accessible to anyone with a link.
What is link access?
Link access determines what happens when someone opens your project link — whether they need an explicit invitation, or whether they can view or edit the project just by having the URL.
Link access options
| Option | Who can access | What they can do |
|---|---|---|
| Invited only | Only people explicitly invited in Lovision | Depends on their individual permission |
| Anyone with the link can view | Anyone who receives the URL | View the canvas only — cannot edit |
| Anyone with the link can edit | Anyone who receives the URL | Make changes to the canvas |
Changing link access
- Open the project.
- Click Share in the top-right corner.
- Open the access dropdown in the Share dialog header.
- Choose the option that matches your sharing needs.
- Click the copy-link button beside the dropdown to copy the shareable URL to your clipboard.
When to use each option
- Invited only — private client work, confidential designs, or any project where you need to control exactly who has access.
- Anyone can view — sharing a design for review with stakeholders, publishing a portfolio piece, or giving access to a large audience without individual invites.
- Anyone can edit — use sparingly and only when you fully trust everyone who may receive the link. Once shared, you cannot control who passes the link on.
Revoking link access
To revoke link access, change the setting back to Invited only. Existing links will stop working for non-invited users. Collaborators who were already invited directly are not affected.
Tips
- Changing from Anyone can edit to Invited only immediately prevents new link-based access — existing open sessions may remain active briefly.
- For external reviews where you want feedback without editing risk, use Anyone can view rather than Anyone can edit.
